1996 Ferrari F310 Serial Number 168の中古車情報(SOLD)です。

We are pleased to offer this 1996 Ferrari F310 s/n 168, the first Formula One Ferrari of the Schumacher era. The F310 featured the first of the Ferrari 75 degree Tipo #046 V–10 F1 engines with 3.0 litres, 4–valves and 600 plus hp at 17,000 rpm. The F310 was also the first Ferrari to carry the new informational steering wheel with all of the driver’s information in the center of the steering wheel. F310 s/n 168 was raced by Eddie Irvine with a 3rd place podium finish in the Australian Grand Prix followed by a 7th at Brazil, a 5th at Argentina and a DNF at Monaco. F310 s/n 168 was then used as a test car for Ferrari’s newest driver, Michael Schumacher and comes with the signed seat insert custom fitted to Schumacher and autographed by Schumacher.

We quietly specialize in late model Ferrari F1 cars and indeed we sold F310 s/n 168 to her current owner in 2008. While many of our clients display their F1 cars as the centerpiece of their collection, for those who want to both own and race a Ferrari Formula One car, the Ferrari Corse Clienti Program provides full support to Ferrari F1 owners to drive their machines at select events with full factory technical support. The “F1 Clienti” section operates as a special section within Corse Clienti (Customer Racing), and offers both collectors and driver–owners the prized opportunity to be invited into the inner–most circle of Ferrari’s racing history. The F1 Clienti events are non–competitive, but are guaranteed to thrill drivers and spectators alike at famous venues such as Spa, Nürburgring, Donington and Magny Cours. Please drop us an e-mail if you’re looking for a late model Ferrari F1 car.

F310 s/n 168 has been a centerpiece of several private American collections but also offers the serious collector the opportunity to interact with Ferrari’s dedicated team of engineers and race mechanics, to ensure historic F1 performance to its full potential, at a performance level comfortable to the driver–owner! F1 s/n 168 was rebuilt at the Ferrari Factory for its first American owner and is ready for display or F1 Clienti track events. F310 s/n 168 is in immaculate “Pebble Beach” standards condition and, with a thorough inspection by F1 clienti, can be “ready–to–race” complete with all support and start equipment including the valve train air tank, electric remote starter assembly, pit fuel churn, front and rear quick–lift jacks, nose take–off cover, wing cover and a spare set of wheels and tires. It is the last of the F1 Ferraris that can be used without a laptop and a small army of engineers. Ferrari Red Book in process. Inquire for pricing.

1996, 07 Apr., Argentina, Eddie Irvine 5th.

1996, 19 May, Monaco, Eddie Irvine DNF.

1996, then used as test mule for Schumacher. Has all the latest updates for the 310s. See “The Ferrari Formula One, 1996” by Automobilia. These books were printed from 1989 onwards, so a book a year in incredible detail. Each book is very detailed with cutaways, info on the introduction, race results, details on each race, etc.

1998, February, on display at the Motor Classic show in Zurich, Switzerland.

1998, 18 July, as per Andreas Birner, 70 F1 cars are currently owned by private collectors. 20 of them are serviced regularly at the factory’s department. The mechanics are Cleto Zini and Pietro Corradini. Dr. Roberto Brenner of Ferrari’s marketing department is responsible for the F1 sales.

1999, owned by David Smith, Seattle, WA. David had s/n 168 gone through by the factory and fully race ready.

As per David the Factory had multiple variations of the Tipo 046 engine but the engine was basically bulletproof. The titanium “weldment” transaxles were also very dependable. Additionally there were 5 different aerodynamic packages on these cars so it is essential to get the right combination of gearbox, aero package and engine “trim” level.

2000, 19 Feb., as per conversation with David Smith, David and his mechanic have actually put together a start and owner’s manual for the car.

2000, sold to Larry Carter.

2007, 05 July, inspected and photographed by Mike Sheehan.
